A retired U.S. Army Contracting Officer with over 21 years of distinguished service, Ricardo brings extensive expertise in acquisition, logistics, supply chain management, contract management, and contingency operations, gained through diverse global assignments during both combat and strategic missions. He holds a master’s degree in Procurement and Acquisition Management and is a certified DAWIA Contracting Professional. Ricardo’s leadership philosophy emphasizes mission-driven excellence, servant leadership, and empowering teams to deliver accountable, results-oriented service in every engagement. Under his guidance, RBC combines military precision with innovation to surpass client expectations and foster public-sector advancement.
Hopeton A. Bryan is the Vice President of RICAR Business Consulting LLC, a strategic leader, published case author, and practitioner-scholar with more than two decades of experience in logistics, operations, medical readiness, supply chain strategy, and organizational execution. Shaped by military discipline and grounded in ethical leadership, he brings structure to complexity, clarity to decision-making, and accountability to execution.
His leadership integrates Lean Six Sigma, Agile thinking, Gemba Kaizen, and practical business judgment to help organizations strengthen performance, reduce inefficiency, and move strategy into measurable results. His teaching case, Cash Flow and Catastrophe: Launching a Post-Crisis Business With Nothing but Grit, was published in the Small Business Institute Journal, Volume 21, Issue 2, 2025, as part of the Special Issue on small business accounting, taxation, and financing issues.
